Silence is Sexy won 'De Grote Prijs van Nederland' (Holland's Grand Pop & Rock Prize) in 2005. Their debut album came out March 2007. Second album This Ain't Hollywood arrived in 2008. Silence is Sexy was awarded the Interactive Award 2009 at the 2009 Noorderslag festival.

Novack started out as a duo, consisting of Sander van der Linden and Wubbo Siegers. Both played in the band Vladimir from 1999 to 2007. During the process of recording their debut album Chris Siegers joined the two. Currently they are finishing the record, which is expected to be released late 2009.
